Fyffe Field is located in the Goulburn Valley wine grape growing region of the Central Victoria zone. Established in 1993, Fyffe Field is a small family owned 7ha vineyard situated near Yarrawonga and the Murray River. The vineyard has been planted to the classical grape varieties of Semillon, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon as well as the lesser known varieties of Verdelho, Touriga and Petit Verdot.
 Our viticultural philosophy is “Quality not Quantity” and we strive to achieve small parcels of premium quality grapes each vintage by limiting yield to enhance both colour and flavors.
Reliable summer weather ensures that grapes ripen without difficulty while the availability of irrigation water provides a safeguard to ensure that the vines do not become overly stressed during the summer months. A little stress at the right times can enhance fruit quality whereas excessive fertilization and watering can be detrimental to grape quality because a vines’s crop load may exceed the ripening and sugar accumulation potential of the vine.
Fyffe Field’s approach to pest & disease management is to take preventative measures to avoid disease & pest establishment thus avoiding the use of “harsher” chemicals.
All our grapes are hand harvested for various reasons; firstly to minimize any physical damage, secondly to allow us to pick each parcel at it’s optimal level of ripeness and additionally because with such small parcels of fruit it is logistically too difficult and too expensive to consider mechanical harvesting.

Fyffe Field is owned and operated by dedicated members of the the Diamond family with Glenn responsible for the viticultural aspects and Liz for day to day cellar door operations. We are an enthusiastic team committed to producing quality grapes while trying to ensure that we can offer excellent value for money wines.
Why Fyffe Field? As a family we are very interested in our history and as a token of our heritage we looked at the surnames of our 8 grandparents – Fyffe, Ashmead, Searle, Pender, Lawn, Harper, Diamond and Bradfield – and chose Fyffe Field to represent our family ‘s venture into the wine industry.
 
We are conveniently located on the Murray Valley Highway midway between Yarrawonga and Cobram. Our mudbrick cellar door offers a relaxed and family friendly opportunity to stop, relax and “tempt the taste buds” with estate grown white & red table wines and also fortified wines including the quirky Tawny Snort. We gladly offer “FREE” tastings.
 On display for your amusement or amazement is an extensive ornamental pig collection. BBQ facilities, playground equipment and shade is provided for those wishing to linger a while. A selection of quality gourmet preserves and locally produced premium olive oil is on hand to tempt you.
Directly opposite historic Byramine Homestead offers tours, devonshire teas and light meals from Sunday to Thursday.
